At Kurunjang Secondary College we pride ourselves on creating confident, independent students that are exposed to diverse subjects that allow them to explore their educational journey fully.
One way that we do this is through our elective based program that begins from Year 8 and progressively expands through to their Senior Secondary qualifications.
Please find below the subject selection handbook that outlines all of the subjects that students, with the support of the school, and family can choose from.
Please find below the link to the presentation that supports our Year 9 students and families to make informed subject choices. The elective curriculum structure at Year 10 allows for all students to pursue academic and career interests by undertaking a totally customised program, unique to each individual student at the College.
Please find below the link to the presentation that supports our Year 10 students and families to make informed Senior Secondary Qualification choices. The College offers the traditional Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) as well as the VCE Vocational Major (VM), which is replacing the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) and the new Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC) program. These have been developed to ensure that we cater to the diverse range of interests, abilities and educational goals of our senior students.
